Dark Side of the Moon

The only thing that is certain in today’s business is that everything is uncertain.

A 2 hour fun activity where teams are forced to manage uncertainty by being blindfolded and given very little instructions and minimum resources to form a square structure.

Watch the fun and laughter unfold at the beginning when chaos reigns. With effective leadership, proper execution and communication, teams are empowered and realise uncertainty can be conquered.

Why Dark Side of the Moon:

Manage uncertainty by:
  • First, understanding that uncertainty is normal in today’s business world and a winning team expects uncertainty and ambiguity

  • Understanding that we are all leaders and paradoxically all followers

  • Getting Leaders to take charge to get things moving, but being aware that sometimes leaders don't have all the answers and followers can be central to the solution by providing feedback and in a way occupy the role of leadership

  • Adopting the Stockdale Paradox which was highlighted in Jim Collins Good to Great i.e maintaining unwavering faith that all problems are solvable but only if you confront the brutal facts

What’s Included:

  • A minimum 1 hour of fun followed by a 30 minute debrief

  • Amazing facilitators to operate the event

Teams are advised how to produce the most in twenty second periods by incorporating systems.

Teams then set off to produce the largest quantity of products in the shortest period of time. However, shortly after they have become used to the system, an array of changes are introduced. These include things such as certain participants being taken out of the equation, being a situation where they are on leave or have resigned, some are blindfolded, being a power failure, the trainers are not buying because they are buying from someone else as there is another factory producing at a cheaper and faster rate – etc, etc.

Teams then have to deal with this change.

Why Production Line:
